Aurelien Tchouameni could be playing for the European Champions next season. The Monaco midfielder has been targeted by both clubs for a summer transfer.

Liverpool and Real Madrid Target Midfielder
With interest sparked in Aurelien Tchouameni from both Liverpool and Real Madrid, the Monaco midfielder looks set for a move this summer. The 22-year-old could spark a “bidding war” between the two clubs – both of whom are finalists in the 2022 UEFA Champions League.
Liverpool are known to want to bring a new young midfielder to Anfield. Tchouameni fits the bill. Having added to his goal tally at the weekend with Monaco, the youngster is heading towards being a top top player. The French side are third in Ligue 1, having won their last eight matches.
According to Julien Laurens, the talented midfielder is close to becoming the real deal. The French Football pundit says that whichever club secures the signature of the 22-year-old will be very lucky. Tchouameni is technically gifted, and proved this at the weekend, adding more goals to his tally.
Spain or England?
With both of the Champions League finalists eager to sign the midfielder, Tchouameni will have a big decision to make. The midfielder can wait until June when the Champions of Europe have been crowned. The 22-year-old is contracted to Monaco until 2024. The French club have an option for another year taking him to 2025.
Tchouameni would be a good fit for both clubs, however, Liverpool are known to be eager to add a young midfielder to their ranks. The Merseyside team are favourites for the signature. The midfielder is seemingly happy at Monaco and in no hurry to move. According to Marca, Tchouameni would go to Spain and join Real, however, the Spanish club have not made an official approach.
With Monaco being a selling club, the midfielder looking for a move up the ladder, it seems if a summer move is on the cards, it could be to Liverpool.
