Today marks 29 years since Christopher George Latore Wallace was murdered in a drive-by shooting while stopped at a red light at the intersection of Wilshire and South Fairfax in Los Angeles. His death came just over six months after Tupac Shakur was shot and killed in Las Vegas, and represented both the peak and the conclusion of the East Coast/West Coast hip-hop rivalry. Jordan Wicks, Porter Hodge to Open Season on IL
It’s a good thing the Cubs built up their pitching depth over the winter, because they’ll be without two expected contributors for at least the first couple weeks of the season. The Rundown Ultralite: Cubs Submit Preliminary Spring Breakout Roster, Cutch Joins Rangers, Cabrera’s FB Not Great
Following all-day meetings on Wednesday, I was part of a volunteer group that portioned out dry pasta at a local food bank. All told, we were able to bag something like 1,400 meals in a little over two hours. It was well worth the effort, and incredibly eye-opening to think about just how much more we have to do in order to combat food insecurity. Like, this was just a few … [Read more...] about The Rundown Ultralite: Cubs Submit Preliminary Spring Breakout Roster, Cutch Joins Rangers, Cabrera’s FB Not Great
