Moms in Cook County jail read to their children. ‘I’m coming home soon.’

The Women’s Justice Institute program recorded mother’s incarcerated at Cook County Jail as they read the book “See You Soon” by Chicago abolitionist Mariame Kaba on May 5, 2022. The recordings will be sent to their children to watch.
