Are we all Racer fans?
The College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska, begins this weekend and baseball fans everywhere are eager to see how this all goes down.
This year’s final 8 teams are:
- Oregon State Beavers
- Arkansas Razorbacks
- LSU Tigers
- Coastal Carolina Chanticleers
- UCLA Bruins
- Louisville Cardinals
- Arizona Wildcats
- Murray State Racers
That’s right… the Murray State Racers. If you haven’t been paying attention, the Cinderella of this year’s CWS is Murray State and it’s a fantastic story — good enough to have a lot of fans (hardcore and casual) pushing for the Racers to win the whole damn thing.
Unfortunately, however, the Racers are facing long odds. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Murray State is sitting with +4200 odds, while the next “longest shot” is Louisville at +1600.
Obviously, who fans want to win and who will actually win are two different things. The same fans gave their answers to that question, and it’s a lot different… the Arkansas Razorbacks.
