Trophies are real — especially this week.
Welcome to week 13 of the college football season. This week Notre Dame is back on the road to face the Stanford Cardinal for the Legends Trophy. It’s rivalry week all around college football, and as conference realignment takes more and more of these games away, I’m thankful for this final week of the regular season.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Notre Dame is a 26 point favorite over Stanford with an over/under of 51.

It’s dawned on me that with there no longer being an Anti-Preview for me to give a printed prediction, and although we go to great lengths on the podcast to offer our predictions, I really need to start doing that here.
This game can go one of three ways. Notre Dame wins big, Notre Dame wins close, and Notre Dame loses close. They’re 26 point favorites for Touchdown Jesus’s sake. The Irish have been mostly pretty sketchy on the road this season on the offensive side of the ball, but Stanford’s defense is bad enough to cancel a lot of that out. Let’s go with Notre Dame wins big and makes as big of a statement as they possibly can against a 3 win team on the Pac-12 Network.
