Take a deep breath

Audric Estime was part of Notre Dame’s 2021 recruiting class, and that recruitment was a perfect explanation of destiny. Notre Dame had failed to gain the commitment of Will Shipley, and at the time it was an “all eggs in one basket” type of thing. The Irish got back to work and gave a late offer to Estime who was committed to the Michigan State Spartans at the time. Estime quickly flipped, and then the pictures of his monstrous size — and we were hooked.
Audric didn’t see the field much as a freshman with Kyren Williams taking most of the carries, but he exploded as a sophomore with 920 yards and 11 touchdowns. You could see the vision, the quick feet, and the absolute power that Estime runs with and he quickly became one of Notre Dame’s top offensive weapons.
As a junior, all Estime did was run for 1341 yards and scored 18 rushing touchdowns (a Notre Dame program record). His most prolific game of his Irish career was also his last game when he ran for 238 yards and 4 touchdowns against Stanford.
Forget the 40 time because it’s smokescreen. Estime can run the football, and despite a handful of other running backs picked ahead of him, he was PFF’s highest rated RB in 2023. Dude is a beast and will forever be an Irish legend.
