The plot thickens
The transfer portal officially closes on Friday, and Notre Dame (of course) had seen its fair share of players enter the portal — just as they have grabbed their fair share of players out of the portal.
Here is the latest transfer portal news concerning the Notre Dame Football program…
GOING EAST
Notre Dame’s quarterback battle got a little clearer when Steve Angeli entered the transfer portal just days after the Blue-Gold game. He didn’t waste much time in finding his new home, and committed to the Syracuse Orange.

SWAPPING SIDES
With Steve Angeli’s decision to play football for Syracuse, comes the instant red-circling of the game between the Irish and Syracuse on Senior Day. Angeli, however, won’t be the only one to face his own team in a Notre Dame game.
Kennedy Urlacher and Elijah Hughes swapped sides in the annual battle for the Jeweled Shillelagh between the Irish and Trojans. Notre Dame Tight end Ty Washington will see his old team, the Arkansas Razorbacks early in the season, and former Notre Dame cornerback Jaden Mickey will return to South Bend to take on the Irish as part of the Boise State Broncos.
Sounds like fun.
