Chicago announced earlier this week that Connor Murphy got a four-year contract extension signed at a $4.4 million salary-cap hit.
With Connor Murphy coming back as one of the top defensemen, the defensive core boosted.
When you have Seth Jones, and he paired together on the back end and Marc-André Fleury and Kevin Lankinen in the net, they will be unstoppable and add additional leadership to the team and locker room.
Along with his contract extension, Connor Murphy announced that he would be donating 500 meals for frontline workers.
