Week 17 Wide Receiver Rankings Fantasy Football

December 23, 2025 by Last Word On Pro Football

Week 16 of the NFL Season is in the books, which means the Fantasy Football Championship has arrived. Here are the Week 17 wide receiver rankings for fantasy football. DK Metcalf is suspended, while Davante Adams, Rashee Rice, and Rome Odunze are questionable with injuries.

Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings Week 17

Tier 1: Superstar WR1s

Rank Player Opponent
1 Puka Nacua Atlanta Falcons
2 Jaxon Smith-Njigba Carolina Panthers
3 CeeDee Lamb Washington Commanders
4 Ja’Marr Chase Arizona Cardinals
5 George Pickens Washington Commanders
6 Amon-Ra St. Brown Minnesota Vikings
7 A.J. Brown Buffalo Bills
8 Chris Olave Tennessee Titans
9 Nico Collins Los Angeles Chargers
10 Drake London Los Angeles Rams

These are the top ten wide receivers in fantasy football this week:

  • Nacua is carrying fantasy teams throughout the playoffs, scoring 35.7, 27.9, and 46.5 fantasy points in the last three weeks, leading to three straight top-two finishes. He should continue this remarkable success against the Falcons on Monday Night Football to close out Championship Week.
  • Lamb and Pickens get a dream matchup against the Commanders secondary to begin the Christmas Day triple-header. Both Cowboys wide receivers rank in the top five of the Week 17 wide receiver rankings.
  • Olave is now the WR6 on the year and is coming off the highest scoring game of his career. He scored 36.8 fantasy points, catching a touchdown pass from both Tyler Shough and Taysom Hill. Olave remains in the top ten of the wide receiver rankings this week.

Chris Olave ranks among WRs this season…

Targets: T-2nd (145)
Receptions: 5th (92)
Receiving Yards: 7th (1,044)
TDs: T-6th (8)
Fantasy Points: 6th (198.1)

Tier 2: Proven Solid WR2s

Rank Player Opponent
11 Tee Higgins Arizona Cardinals
12 Mike Evans Miami Dolphins
13 Davante Adams* Atlanta Falcons
14 Courtland Sutton Kansas City Chiefs
15 Jameson Williams Minnesota Vikings
16 Jaylen Waddle Tampa Bay Buccaneers
17 Jakobi Meyers Indianapolis Colts
18 Brian Thomas Jr. Indianapolis Colts
19 Marvin Harrison Jr. Cincinnati Bengals
20 Michael Wilson Cincinnati Bengals

The players in this tier are all must-starts this week:

  • Higgins only caught three passes in his return from injury, but he had 53 yards and a touchdown. He and the Bengals get a great matchup in an expected shoot-out with the Cardinals.
  • Sutton has two straight top-ten fantasy finishes, scoring over 20 fantasy points in each game. However, the Broncos are heavy favorites against the Chiefs with a third-string quarterback, so they probably won’t be in a game script to throw a ton in the second half.
  • The return of Harrison Jr. led to the downfall of Wilson. Both Wilson and Harrison had only three targets. They can both feast against the Bengals, but they hurt each other’s ceilings.

Tier 3: WR3s With Something to Prove

Rank Player Opponent
21 Zay Flowers Green Bay Packers
22 Rashee Rice* Denver Broncos
23 Ladd McConkey Houston Texans
24 Tetairoa McMillan Seattle Seahawks
25 Jauan Jennings Chicago Bears
26 DeVonta Smith Buffalo Bills
27 Wan’Dale Robinson Las Vegas Raiders
28 Justin Jefferson Detroit Lions
29 DJ Moore San Francisco 49ers
30 Alec Pierce Jacksonville Jaguars

This tier of players includes wide receivers who are all borderline WR starts this week, depending on the size of your league:

  • Rice missed last week’s game with a concussion and will need to clear protocol ahead of the Thursday Night game. However, the Chiefs are on their third-string quarterback, so everyone on the offense takes a massive hit. Fantasy managers might have to look to other options in Week 17, regardless of whether he plays.
  • McMillan was in a slump, but had a nice day in the Panthers massive victory over the Buccaneers. He caught six of ten targets for 73 yards and a touchdown. He plays the Seahawks in Week 17, who just got torched by Nacua. We will see if the Panthers can exploit the defense to get McMillan that production.

Tier 4: Potential Flex WRs

Rank Player Opponent
31 Khalil Shakir Philadelphia Eagles
32 Terry McLaurin Dallas Cowboys
33 Deebo Samuel Dallas Cowboys
34 Chris Godwin Miami Dolphins
35 Rome Odunze* San Francisco 49ers
36 Christian Watson Baltimore Ravens
37 Jayden Reed Baltimore Ravens
38 Michael Pittman Jr. Jacksonville Jaguars
39 Jayden Higgins Los Angeles Chargers
40 Stefon Diggs New York Jets

These guys are FLEX options to fill out your starting lineup:

  • Both McLaurin and Samuel have great matchups against the Cowboys defense.
  • Watson and Reed’s rankings depend on the availability of quarterback Jordan Love. If Love doesn’t play, I would not want to start either Packers receiver in the Championship.
