The Bears added cornerback depth with the signing of Jayson Stanley this week. The move came after Chicago placed offensive lineman Dakota Dozier on injured reserve.
While the Bears addressed a huge hole at cornerback with the selection of Kyler Gordon in the NFL draft, general manager Ryan Poles has continued to add depth and additional bodies heading into training camp.
Stanley faces an uphill battle if he hopes to lock down a roster spot with a cornerback group that’s certainly improved, although not dramatically, from a season ago.
