NEW YORK CITY (WGN) — Two Chicago Bears games during the 2025 regular season have been leaked early, according to multiple reports.
FOX Sports said the Bears will take on the Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field as part of an NFC doubleheader on Saturday, Dec. 20, that will also feature the Philadelphia Eagles against the Washington Commanders.
Shortly after FOX Sports revealed the Chicago-Green Bay matchup, Prime tweeted the date of a second Bears game set to take place—a contest at home against the Philadelphia Eagles on Black Friday, Nov. 28.
Chicago ended the 2024 regular season on a high note against the Packers after an abysmal 10-game losing streak that cost offensive coordinator Shane Waldron and head coach Matt Eberflus their jobs.
The Bears took home a last-minute, 24-22 victory over Green Bay thanks to a game-winning 51-yard field goal from Cairo Santos that was set up by a 19-yard pass from Caleb Williams to DJ Moore.
One of the more memorable plays of Chicago’s 2024 season, defensive back Josh Blackwell returned a punt 94 yards for a touchdown that included a fake catch on the opposite sideline to confuse the Packers’ special teams unit.
The two-point Bears win also snapped an 11-game losing streak to Green Bay.
The last time the Bears played the Eagles was on Dec. 18, 2022, which was also at Soldier Field.
Philadelphia won the matchup 25-20, with Jalen Hurts punching in three TD runs and AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith combining for 14 receptions and 307 receiving yards. Justin Fields threw for 152 yards and 2 TD passes while also notching 15 carries for 95 yards on the ground.
The NFL will release their league-wide schedule on Wednesday, May 14.
According to the Bears, as part of the announcement, Chicago will debut a custom schedule release video and additional content, embracing a growing NFL trend where the league has pivoted toward creating a stronger presence on team social media and digital platforms.
Fans can catch schedule release content when it drops on the Bears’ Facebook, X and Instagram accounts.
