The Chicago Bears will be better, but will that be good enough in the NFC North?

July 2, 2025 by Windy City Gridiron

NFL: Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions

How far up the NFC North can the Bears climb in 2025?

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Chicago Bears fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

Chicago Bears fans are in a good place, as evidenced by our Reacts’ results from a couple of weeks ago, but being confident that the franchise will improve over last season’s five wins still begs the question: just how much better will they be?

The NFC North was the best division in the NFL last year, so Chicago could have a big jump in wins, yet still fall short of making the playoffs. The Seahawks won ten games last year and missed the playoffs.

The Green Bay Packers were a sixth seed in 2024 with 11 wins as the third-place finisher in the division. The Detroit Lions took the North with a 15-2 record, with the Minnesota Vikings right behind them at 14-3.

The NFC could be strong again as teams battle for the wild-card spots, and the North division is likely to be the toughest in football once more, so where do you see Chicago ending up?

Vote in our Reacts survey, and we’ll share your results after the holiday.
