Raiders Star Maxx Crosby Massive Trade Cost Revealed

February 20, 2026 by Last Word On Pro Football

Coming off a disastrous 2025 campaign, the biggest elephant in the room for the Las Vegas Raiders is defensive star Maxx Crosby, as he continues to be named in several trade rumors. Despite hiring a new head coach and Super Bowl champion, Klint Kubiak, the trade rumors regarding Crosby are never-ending, and it probably won’t slow down until he joins a new team. With that, the Raiders revealed what it would take to get Crosby in a possible blockbuster trade. While the Raiders don’t want to move on from Crosby, according to ESPN’s NFL insider, Adam Schefter, explained what would happen if the Raiders receives a few calls and what they’ll request:

“I was told that the Raiders don’t want to trade him and that if they even contemplated it, it would take a Micah Parsons-type package,” Schefter said. “That’s what I was told. Do I think they’re getting two ones and a player? No. Do I think that they’re going to want to trade him? No. Do I think he’ll be traded? …It’ll change by the week, but it’s certainly possible.”

Raiders Star Maxx Crosby Massive Trade Cost Revealed

Time is ticking for the defensive end as Crosby is 28-years-old and isn’t getting any younger. Compared to Micah Parsons (26-years-old), it makes sense why no team would be willing to send the Raiders the type of trade package they’re looking for. Originally selected in the fourth-round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the former Eastern Michigan product has been a staple for the Raiders’ defense. After spending his entirety in Las Vegas, Crosby recorded nearly 70 sacks along with 11 forced fumbles and 439 total tackles.

The relationship between Crosby and Las Vegas is obviously strained due to the heated exchange when the Raiders decided to sit out the defender for the rest of the 2025 campaign. The good news? Two teams might be able to pull it off.

Eagles, Bears Best Fits for Crosby

Due to Philadelphia Eagles GM Howie Roseman and his aggressiveness in delivering a promising trade, he could be the one to pull the trigger. Before the trade deadline last year, the team acquired pass-rusher Jaelan Phillips, who went on to be the lifeblood of this defense. As they’re at risk of losing him in free agency, they could turn to Crosby not only as a replacement but as a generational upgrade. The Eagles could send draft picks and AJ Brown to Las Vegas in exchange for Crosby.

Meanwhile, the Bears are another team that can be somewhat aggressive, but they’re facing cap constraints. However, it looks like the team might be open to moving on from wide receiver DJ Moore due to the likes of Luther Burden and Rome Odunze emerging as the top weapons for Caleb Williams’ offense. If Bears GM Ryan Poles wants to see this team appear in the NFC Championship Game, they might have to risk a few draft picks, along with Moore, to acquire Crosby.
