Chicago police are questioning a person of interest after a man was found fatally stabbed overnight during a wellbeing check in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood.
Shortly after 2:30 a.m., officers responded to a wellbeing call in the 900 block of West 78th Street and found an unresponsive man stabbed multiple times to the body. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal attack, and were questioning a person of interest.
