We have three pieces of the 2025 Chicago Bears schedule puzzle figured out, but week one is yet to be revealed. So, for this open thread question of the day, let us know who you want the Bears to play in week one of the regular season.
Here are the two confirmed dates for the Bears: November 28 at the Philadelphia Eagles and December 20 hosting the Green Bay Packers. And based on the Bears playing the Saturday before Christmas, it seems highly likely they’ll be traveling for a Christmas Day game against the Washington Commanders.
Also, the Eagles will open the season against the Dallas Cowboys, so the Cowboys can’t be Chicago’s week one matchup.
Who would be your ideal week one opponent for Chicago?
Home games still in play for week one are the Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the New Orleans Saints, with the remaining road games options being the Packers, Lions, Vikings, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Las Vegas Raiders, and the San Francisco 49ers.
I think a week one road game would be a nice early test for the new coaching regime, and a trip to Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, would be a fun way to kick off the 2025 season.
