With the Chicago Bears schedule out, which game gets you the most pumped up?
The Chicago Bears schedule is out, as yesterday was filled with the usual frenzy of leaks and rumors as everyone tries to piece their favorite team’s schedule together a few hours earlier than it’s actually announced.
We’ve known about which opponents the Bears will be facing this year for months (in some cases, years), but it’s still a lot more fun to see where those games are slotted and sometimes the date and time make the game more interesting than if it was a regular Noon kick on Fox.
Question of the Day: What non-Packer game are you looking forward to the most?
For some fans, maybe the Green Bay Packers games this year aren’t the most compelling games, but for many fans, they usually are, so let’s put those two games aside and look at the other fifteen on the roster.
There are plenty of options to choose from: Ben Johnson’s return to Detroit, JJ McCarthy’s first career start on Monday Night Football, the Fail Mary revenge game, also on Monday Night Football, what about the Black Friday game in Philadelphia against the Eagles?
My answer: For me, I’m looking at November 23rd at Noon Chicago time. Perhaps this game would have been in a primetime slot if the team’s quarterback situation had been resolved, but for me, it’s the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
I loathe Aaron Rodgers. I loathe what he did to the Bears regularly, I loathe his dismissive nature, I loathe his narcissism, I loathe everything about him.
I think if Aaron Rodgers is the QB for the Steelers, when they play the Packers in late October, I think I’d rather see the Packers win. It’s that bad.
So I am looking forward to Ben Johnson, Caleb Williams, and the rest of the new look Chicago Bears welcoming in the Pittsburgh Steelers to Soldier Field in November. I want to see Aaron Rodgers, in what is almost certainly his final game at Soldier Field, beaten thoroughly. I hope Ben Johnson understands that the fans will want that score run up and obliterates the team.
I understand the Steelers are a pretty good team and could win. I understand that if that happens, my soul will be crushed to a fine powder. I understand the inherent risks. But I understand the pure joy if Rodgers walks off that field a loser his last time there.
Beat Aaron Rodgers, Chicago Bears. Beat him badly. Of all the regular-season games on the 2025 schedule, that is what I want to see the most.
