The Chicago Bears have selected Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze with the ninth overall pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Odunze flew into Detroit on the same flight as Caleb Williams, and now the two can fly to Chicago for their post-draft press conference together.
His senior season with the Huskies he racked up 92 receptions, 1,640 yards, and 13 touchdowns while being named an All-American, and he was also a 2023 Academic All American.
Scouts have comped him to all time greats like Larry Fitzgerald and Davante Adams, and have said he’d be the top receiving prospect in most drafts.
The athletic 6’3”, 212 pounder will complement Chicago’s receiving room perfectly along with DJ Moore and Keenan Allen.
