Chicago Bears Rookies Attend White Sox Game At Rate Field

Last week, the Chicago Bears’ 2025 rookie class attended a Chicago Cubs game at Wrigley Field, and we can’t have WCG accused of being biased towards one side of town. So, in case you missed it, earlier today, the Bears hit the south side and took in the Chicago White Sox game at Rate Field.

Second-round draft pick Luther Burden III, who played collegiately at the University of Missouri and his high school ball at East St. Louis (IL), threw out the first pitch, but the home fans left unhappy as the St. Louis Cardinals won 12-2.

Burden, who didn’t participate in most of the offseason program because of a soft tissue injury, looked spry on the mound, but his pitch missed the mark.

Fellow second-round pick Ozzy Trapilo threw out the first pitch at Wrigley last week, which leaves their third second-rounder, Shemar Turner, available if another Chicago sports team wants to have the Bears in for an event.
