The top of the 2025 NFL Draft did have a little drama, as the Jacksonville Jaguars traded from fifth to second with the Cleveland Browns, which prompted some angst from Chicago Bears fans.
But after a day full of trade-up rumors linking Ashton Jeanty to the Bears, general manager Ryan Poles didn’t move, and Jeanty was drafted sixth overall by the Las Vegas Raiders.
Bears fans, how do you feel about the Bears not making a trade up for the Boise State running back?
Obviously, running back is still a need for this team, but we’ve heard analysts laud this class for weeks. The drop off from Jeanty to RB2 (or RB3, 4, or 5) may not be as steep a drop, where losing draft capital would have been worth it.
