While the Cincinnati Bengals are building themselves back on offense with the acquisition of Joe Flacco, linebacker Logan Wilson has requested a trade out of the team. According to the breaking news, due to a reduced role, Wilson prefers to join a team where he could become a starter after losing his starting job to rookies Barrett Carter and Demetrius Knight Jr., who have been chewing most of the defensive snaps. Unfortunately, in an earlier article, it was bound for the Bengals to move him before the trade deadline, and now with his request, he could pick a team wherever he desires.

Despite leading the team in tackles in 2022 and 2023, he hasn’t been the same since suffering a season-ending injury, ending his 2024 campaign. This now leads to his reduced defensive snaps (19.7%) against the Green Bay Packers, and it continued to be something to watch as the season progresses for the Bengals. There are several teams out there that would need reinforcements in their defensive unit, and while Wilson might have to work his way back to become a starter again, he should be able to receive interest.
