It’s amazing how quickly the perception of the Chicago Bears has changed within one weekend with the 2021 NFL draft. General manager Ryan Pace seemed to revitalize this Bears fanbase with his draft class, which included trading up to land star quarterback Justin Fields with the 11th overall pick.
Pace has been receiving glowing reviews for his 2021 draft class, which also included trading up for a first-round prospect in offensive tackle Teven Jenkins in the second round, as well as some great value players in the later rounds.
Looking at this Bears’ team and the seven players they just drafted, there were both winners and losers after this weekend. Some players will benefit from the Bears’ moves while others might find themselves out of a job, which already happened with left tackle Charles Leno.
