The Chicago Bears and Atlanta Falcons have agreed that the Bears should receive draft compensation for Ian Cunningham’s hire as the Falcons’ general manager, due to the NFL’s “Rooney Rule” which awards a team with a third round draft choice in two consecutive drafts after a minority assistant coach or executive is hired.
