5 Offensive NFL Draft Risers From Week 6

October 8, 2025 by Last Word On Pro Football

There were several offensive prospects who became big NFL Draft risers in Week 6 with standout performances. Here are five NFL Draft risers who boosted their draft stock in Week 6 of college football.

Top NFL Draft Risers From Week 6

QB Ty Simpson, Alabama

Ty Simpson had a disappointing start to the season in Week 1, but has been one of the best passers in the country since the loss against Florida State. Despite just five total starts in his career, Simpson looks like one of the most pro-ready quarterbacks in this year’s draft class with smart and quick decision-making, good throwing mechanics, and great accuracy. He did throw his first interception of the season against Vanderbilt, but he still completed over 74% of his passes, averaged 11 yards per pass attempt, and recorded two touchdown passes in the Crimson Tide’s 30-14 victory over No. 16 Vanderbilt. Simpson manages the game well, but also shows the ability to extend plays and make big-time throws. In just five games as a starter, Simpson has already demonstrated he has the accuracy and mental makeup to potentially be a first-round pick.

QB Sawyer Robertson, Baylor

Sawyer Robertson has been one of the most prolific passers in college football through six weeks, and he had yet another impressive day through the air against Kansas State in Week 6. Robertson threw for 345 yards and two touchdowns, and also completed a fourth quarter comeback to win the game 35-34 after being down 31-17 at the start of the fourth quarter. He leads the country in both passing yards and passing touchdowns with 2,058 passing yards and 19 passing touchdowns. Robertson is currently projected to be a Day 3 pick, but he continues to improve his draft stock with incredible passing performances every week.

Justice Haynes has gone for over 100 rushing yards on at least six yards per carry or more every week so far this season. He recorded 117 rushing yards and two touchdowns against Wisconsin with two 20-plus yard runs, including a big 43-yard run. Haynes not only showed his big-play ability but also his impressive vision, power, and balance as a runner. Haynes has been incredibly consistent this season, ranking in the top five in both rushing yards and rushing touchdowns, increasing his chances to be one of the first running backs taken in the 2026 draft.

WR Hank Beatty, Illinois

Hank Beatty has put himself into draft consideration this season as he continues to have impressive performances. Against Purdue, Beatty went for a career-high 186 receiving yards with five receptions and a touchdown. Beatty earned PFF Offensive Team of the Week honors for his performance, and it was the second time this season he has gone for over 100 receiving yards in a game. He currently ranks fifth in the nation in receiving yards and is in the top 20 for total receptions as well. Beatty is a dynamic playmaker who averages 17.8 yards per reception and showed his big-play ability against Purdue with a 62-yard touchdown.

Beatty also shines as a return man and is on the Paul Hornung Award Watchlist, recognizing the most versatile player in college football. While Beatty was not a highly ranked prospect in the offseason, he has greatly improved his draft stock with his emergence as one of the most productive receivers in the country, along with his return man ability.

WR Chris Bell, Louisville

Chris Bell has now had back-to-back weeks with double-digit receptions and over 100 yards. Against Virginia, he had a career-high 12 receptions and 170 yards with two touchdowns. Bell demonstrated his ability to consistently create separation, make plays in all areas of the field, and make contested catches, including a remarkable one-handed catch in the end zone. He ranks in the top 10 for receiving yards and the top 15 for total receptions through six weeks. Bell’s stellar performance so far this season is increasing his chances to potentially being taken in the first two rounds of the NFL Draft.
