4 Early Offensive Risers for 2026 NFL Draft Risers From CFB Week 8

October 21, 2025 by Last Word On Pro Football

It was an exciting week of college football that had several big NFL Draft risers with standout performances. Here are four offensive prospects who boosted their draft stock in Week 8 of college football.

Top Offensive NFL Draft Risers From Week 8

QB Brendan Sorsby, Cincinnati

Brendan Sorsby is currently leading Cincinnati on a six-game winning streak, a 4-0 start in Big 12 play, and has helped the Bearcats reach the top 25. Against Oklahoma State, Sorsby led his team to a 49-point performance and threw for 270 yards with four total touchdowns and no interceptions. He also finished as the second-highest graded quarterback in Week 8, according to PFF. Sorsby currently ranks in the top 10 in passing touchdowns, passer rating, and QBR. Sorsby has a great arm, solid athleticism, and has done a great job taking care of the ball this season. He has not thrown a single interception since Week 1. Sorsby may still end up returning to school for another season, making himself a 2027 NFL Draft prospect. However, he is beginning to stand out more and more each week as one of the better potential 2026 quarterback prospects as well.

RB Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame

Jeremiyah Love entered the season as a top-ranked running back in the 2026 NFL Draft, and he has only further established himself as a top tier running back prospect with his play this season. In a big rivalry game against No. 20 USC, Love had a career-high 228 rushing yards, one touchdown, and averaged over nine yards per carry. He led all FBS players in rushing yards in Week 8 and now ranks in fifth place for most rushing yards in the nation this season. Love showcased that he excels in nearly every area as a running back, highlighting his explosiveness, vision, power, ability to break tackles, and he made plays in the receiving game as well with five receptions for 37 yards. Love is positioning himself well to not only be the first running back taken in the draft, but also a potential top 15 pick in the draft.

RB Jadarian Price, Notre Dame

Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price returns a kick for a touchdown in the second half of a NCAA football game against Southern California at Notre Dame Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, in South Bend.

Love is not the only Notre Dame running back who had a big game. Jadarian Price had a season-high 87 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown, but his greatest highlight of the game came on special teams. After USC took the lead late in the third quarter, Price responded with a 100-yard kick return to take the lead back. This is the second game this season where Price has both returned a kick for a touchdown and scored a touchdown on offense as a running back in the same game. Price also ranks third in total touchdowns so far this season with 11. He is proving to be a well-rounded running back with elite return man potential as well. Price is giving himself a good chance to potentially be one of the first five running backs taken in the draft.

WR Chris Bell, Louisville

Chris Bell led the way as Louisville’s top offensive playmaker in their huge upset win on the road over No. 2 Miami (FL). Against one of the best defenses in the country, Bell went for nine receptions, 136 receiving yards, and two touchdowns. Among his two touchdowns was a big third-and-3 reception in the fourth quarter that he turned into a touchdown with his incredible run-after-catch ability to go up two scores in the game. This was the third game in a row Bell has had at least 135 receiving yards. It was also his third game in a row with nine or more receptions, and his second game in a row with multiple touchdowns. Bell now ranks eighth in receiving yards in all of college football and is positioning himself well as a potential top 50 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
