Only three affiliates — the Barons, Dash, and Cannon Ballers — were in action Wednesday. All three lost close games.
Jake Palisch struck out seven across five innings of one-run ball for the Barons, Alec Makarewicz notched four hits for the Dash, and Cannon Ballers catcher Ronny Hernandez reached base four times.
All this and more in today’s minor league recap!
