White Sox Farm Report: July 25, 2025

July 29, 2025 by Sox On 35th

The post White Sox Farm Report: July 25, 2025 appeared first on Sox On 35th.

While the White Sox put a hurting on the Cubs with their newfound offense, bats were mostly quiet down on the farm. The Knights, Barons, and DSL White Sox all scored three runs or fewer, and only George Wolkow homered on the day.

Wolkow’s homered powered a dramatic Cannon Ballers comeback, Hagen Smith punched out six for the Barons, and Yoendrys Gómez was masterful in another Knights’ shutout.

All this and more in today’s minor league recap!

Triple-A Charlotte Knights (49-50)

The Knights won their second straight shutout, blanking the Nashville Sounds 3-0. Charlotte bats mustered only two hits, but Yoendrys Gómez dazzled on the mound, punching out eight across five innings. The Knights scored the game’s only runs in the first inning after drawing three walks in a row followed by a wild pitch and two sac flies.

  • Ryan Noda (1B): 0-for-3, R, BB
  • Will Robertson (RF): 0-for-3, R, BB

  • Cam Booser (RP): 1.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, BB, 2 K (SAVE)

FINAL: Knights 3, Nashville Sounds 0 | Box Score

The #Knights win a bizarre one. There were 3 1 out BB’s in the T1. The first run scores on a WP. The 2nd scores on this E9 on a sac fly from Dom Fletcher, and another sac fly by Jacob Amaya to put them up 3-0, your final. Not one hit in this half inning. pic.twitter.com/dG1QaUsqS8
