A heartwarming twist on the traditional fan interaction, the big leaguers lined up to collect autographs from the kids. This uplifting gesture aims to build confidence and celebrate the resilience, courage and strength these young individuals display every day in their battle against cancer.

Cal’s Angels is a 501(c)(3) pediatric cancer foundation dedicated to granting wishes, raising awareness and funding critical research to help kids fight cancer. Named in honor of 12-year-old South Elgin Little League All-Star Cal Sutter, who lost his battle with leukemia in 2006, the organization has raised more than $33 million to bring hope and support to thousands of families throughout Illinois and beyond.
