GUN POSSESSION: Colby J. Hill-Fields, 22, Chicago, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon/revoked permit, possession of a stolen motor vehicle and possession of fictitious registration plates May 8 in the 9000 block of Beloit Avenue after officers recovered a .40 caliber pistol and loaded magazine and a car stolen from a dealership in Tennessee, police said.
Burbank
PRIVACY INVASION: Christopher Ponce, 52, 8000 block of Major Avenue, Burbank, was arrested April 26 and accused of unauthorized video recording in a home after investigators linked him to a motion-activated camera hidden in a bathroom from Dec. 18 through Dec. 31 and aimed at the shower and toilet, police said.
AGGRAVATED FLEEING: A Chicago man led officers on a May 10 high-speed chase that began in the 5400 block of 79th Street and ended in a fiery crash in the 8600 block of Cicero Avenue that injured two people and damaged three vehicles, police said. Michael R. Adams-Parks, 34, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center and arrested and accused of aggravated fleeing, driving on a suspended license, aggravated speeding and resisting arrest, police said.

GUN POSSESSION: Jimmy L. Brown, 40, Chicago, was arrested April 27 and accused of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon/convicted felon after officers recovered a loaded 9 mm handgun and loaded magazine from the car’s glove box at 93rd Street and Pulaski Road, police said.
Ford Heights
GUN POSSESSION: Corion Reed, 18,1100 block of Williamsburg Road, Country Club Hills, was arrested May 2 in the 1600 block of Lincoln Highway and accused of aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon after deputies recovered a handgun with a loaded extended magazine and determined the gun was reported stolen from Chicago and that he was too young to qualify for a gun permit, sheriff’s police said.
GUN POSSESSION: Michael Donner, 49, Chicago, is scheduled to appear in Cook County court at Markham June 2, charged with aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon/felon, according to sheriff’s police and sheriff’s records online. Deputies arrested Donner May 4 in the 1600 block of Lincoln Highway after recovering a loaded handgun, 32 grams of suspected cocaine, nearly eight ounces of suspected cannabis and drug paraphernalia, sheriff’s police said.
Lansing
DUI CRASH: Daniel Ridderhoff, 49, Schererville, Indiana, was arrested and accused of drunken driving during a May 2 two-vehicle crash investigation at a rail crossing in the 18900 block of Wentworth Avenue, police said.
Lockport
ELDER ABUSE: Hope K. Rudnick, 28, 16500 block of Dorchester Place, Lockport, is scheduled to appear in Will County court June 5, charged with aggravated battery/victim 60 or older, according to court records online. Rudnick was arrested May 13 after pulling the walker out of a person’s hands, causing him to fall to the ground and then pushing the mobility assistance device out of his reach before leaving without offering assistance, police said.
Markham
TROOPER INJURED: William Oiler, 44, Harvey, was charged May 23 with leaving the scene of a personal-injury collision in connection with a May 22 head-on collision on Interstate 57 that sent an Illinois State Trooper to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, police said. Oiler was fleeing Country Club Hills police north in the southbound lanes when he struck the squad car that entered from 159th Street, police said.
Oak Lawn
DEALING ALLEGED: Edward J. Reynolds, 33, 300 block of Royal Court, Steger, was arrested April 24 and accused of manufacture/delivery of 15-100 grams of cocaine with intent to deliver after officers recovered three ounces of suspected cocaine, $5,500 cash and a digital scale in the 5500 block of 95th Street by officers who had witnessed a suspected drug deal nearby, police said.
Orland Park
DUI CRASH: Ramon Frausto, 40, Hammond, Indiana, was arrested May 2 and accused of drunken driving, driving off the roadway, failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision and failing to provide proof of insurance after officers questioned why his pickup truck was in a detention pond in the 16200 block of LaGrange Road, police said.
CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE: Two men who took merchandise selling for $3,750 April 10 from Home Depot, 7300 159th St., over five visits were charged May 12 with continuing a financial crimes enterprise, police said. The charge against Criztobal Alvarez Olvera, 31, Chicago, and David O. Flores, 41, Cicero, stems from the pair and two unidentified accomplices netting unpaid for merchandise selling for $137,088 and involved 13 Home Depot stores in the southwestern, western and northwestern suburbs and one Chicago location from Jan. 29 through April 14, police said.

AGGRAVATED DUI: Henry L. Dye Jr., 42, 300 block of Niagara Street, Park Forest, was arrested May 9 near the intersection of Western Avenue and Dogwood Street and subsequently charged with aggravated drunken driving, aggravated driving on a revoked license/DUI and aggravated resisting arrest, police said.
GUN POSSESSION: Russell J. Barefield, 25, Plainfield, was arrested May 10 and accused of unlawful possession of a weapon at Orchard Street and Indiana Avenue after officers recovered a loaded 9 mm pistol and loaded magazine and then determined he lacked a concealed carry license, police said.

MAN SHOT: Police say two individuals ran to a mobile home development in Dixmoor at about 5 p.m. May 21 after shooting a man outside a gas station at 140th Street and Western Avenue. The victim, who was targeted and not employed by the business, was expected to recover, police said. Police ask anyone with information to call 708-385-0277 or submit a tip anonymously.
ROBBERY ARREST: Orlando Moore, 35, Chicago, was arrested May 22 on a warrant charging him with armed robbery in connection with displaying a handgun May 5 while taking unpaid-for tobacco at a store in the 14700 block of Kedzie Avenue, police said. Moore is being held without bond in Cook County Jail, according to sheriff’s records online.
Steger
RECKLESS DRIVING: Alphonso O. Williams II, 37, Steger, was arrested May 2 with the help of South Chicago Heights officers for driving 70 mph in a 35 mph zone after speeding up and turning off his lights in an attempt to avoid a nighttime traffic stop at Ashland Avenue and Steger Road, police said. Williams was charged with reckless driving, fleeing and eluding, driving on a suspended license and speeding, according to court records online.
Tinley Park
RETAIL BURGLARY: Wesley D. Hatten-Lovett, 31, Long Island, New York, is scheduled to appear in Will County court June 10, charged with burglary and possession of burglary tools, according to court records online. Hatten-Lovett, was arrested May 15 at Target, 7300 191st St., after attempting to access a locked display case with a crowbar, police said.
AGGRAVATED BATTERY: Michael L. Schaefer, 30, 9000 block of Willow Lane, Mokena, was arrested on a warrant charging him with resisting arrest May 21 near the intersection of 191st Street and 80th Avenue and additionally accused of aggravated battery to a police officer, resisting arrest and fleeing after he was apprehended, police said.
University Park
AGGRAVATED BATTERY: Charles Lyons, 31, Chicago, was arrested May 17 and subsequently charged with aggravated battery to a police officer, resisting arrest and criminal damage to property, according to police and Will County records online. Lyons broke into an apartment in the Brittany Woods complex and shoved an officer over a piece of furniture while resisting arrest, police said.
