Right-handed pitcher Jonathan Cannon has been a huge asset for the Winston-Salem Dash. The White Sox third-round pick (№101 overall) in the 2022 draft, finished out the 2022 season playing for the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers before he was promoted to the High-A Winston-Salem Dash to start the 2023 season.
Cannon’s most impressive performance from June came in a start against the Greensboro Grasshoppers, striking out 10 batters over 5.2 innings pitched.
Cannon was selected to represent the White Sox at the 2023 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game on July 8. He pitched a scoreless inning for the A.L. before handing off to the next reliever.
