Nobody asked me to set goals for the White Sox in September, which is a shame, since I had a few ones that seemed reasonably attainable:
- Post a winning record in a month for the first time since May 2023.
- Avoid a third consecutive 100-loss season.
- Play in such a fashion that Chris Getz couldn’t easily talk around adding to the roster over the winter.
