A 21-year-old man was fatally stabbed Wednesday evening during an argument in the South Shore neighborhood, Chicago police said.
About 6:20 p.m., the victim was in the 2900 block of East 79th Street when he was involved in an argument. The person he was arguing with pulled out a sharp object and stabbed him in the chest, police said.
He was taken to South Shore Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives were investigating.
