Do we live there now?
The White Sox are back again in Cleveland for the fourth game in three days and honestly, after that clinch on Thursday followed by last night’s stellar performance I am for once not dreading the thought of being in Ohio.
Tonight’s lineup feels special as it resembles a likely playoff Game 1 set. Lance Lynn takes the bump with nice numbers in his two career starts at Cleveland, with a 0.69 ERA and 17 strikeouts. With an overall 2.47 ERA for the season, it is no secret that The Big Bastard is a likely contender for our Game 1 starting pitcher.
Lance Lynn owns a 0.69 ERA (1 ER/13.0 IP), .182 (8-44) average and 17 strikeouts in two career starts at Cleveland.

While the playoffs have been clinched, these games against Cleveland are still important as the Big Six work out the kinks of playing together regularly since everyone is back from their respective injuries. And though we will miss Adam Engel, who just can’t seem to stay healthy, right field is still on lock with Leury García, who is boasting career numbers and having a wonderful September (this writer isn’t biased or anything).
Eli Morgan takes the mound for Cleveland, sporting a 5.68 ERA over 77 2⁄3 IP with 73 strikeouts and a 1.33 WHIP. He’s no Shane Bieber, so hopefully our guys can put up some big ones against him.
Here’s how the rest of Cleveland’s lineup stacks up:

BTW — since their season is essentially over, do we start calling them the Guardians now??
Tonight’s game is on FOX, MLB.TV and radio station ESPN 1000 for those tuning in via radio. Stop watching football and join us. A.J. almost assuredly will say something weird.
