The White Sox (23-47) are looking to break a three-game losing streak and are taking on the Rangers (34-36), who took the series opener on Friday night.

Rookie Mike Vasil, 25, will start on the mound for the South Siders. In 41 1⁄3 innings, Vasil has a 2.18 ERA but a 4.55 FIP, rendering him a 0.0-fWAR pitcher. Vasil’s high walk rate (4.79 per nine innings) and unremarkable strikeout rate (6.10 per nine innings) contribute to the big difference between his ERA and FIP.
