FACTS ABOUT EACH WHITE SOX NON-ROSTER INVITEE TO 2026 SPRING TRAINING

White Sox spring training invitees Hagen Smith (33) and Michael Turner were teammates at the University of Arkansas.

Here’s a look at the non-roster players, including organization minor leaguers, the White Sox have invited to spring training:

*Mason Adams, RHP (minor leaguer): Iowa native is the Sox No. 13 prospect in the latest Fangraphs rankings. He missed 2025 after undergoing Tommy John surgery … His complete game in 2024 was the first by a Birmingham (AA) pitcher since 2021

*Sam Antonacci, IF (minor leaguer): Fast-riser’s .433 on-base percentage at three stops was the highest in the organization among players with at least 112 at bats. … He hails from Springfield, Ill. The last native of the Illinois capital to play for the Sox was infielder Tim Hulett from 1983 to 1987

*Dru Baker, OF (minor leagues): 25-year old was quite the quarterback at Tomball High School in Texas. He was first-team all-district his sophomore and junior years. He accounted for 4,771 passing yards and 1,587 rushing yards in three seasons with 42 touchdown passes and 19 rushing touchdownss

*Ryan Borucki LHP (non-roster invitee): Native of Mundelein, the only one to play in the bigs, was a Sox fan growing up … His dad was a teammate of Ryne Sandberg in the minor leagues

*Adisyn Coffey, RHP (minor leaguer): The product of Wabash College in Mt. Carmel, Ill., finished third among Sox farmhands (min. 55.1 innings) behind Carson Jacobs (13.3), Hagen Smith (12.8) and Zach Franklin (12.6) with an average of 12.2 strikeouts per nine innings last season.

*Tyler Davis, RHP (minor leaguer): In his only full season as a hitter, Davis ranked fifth in NCAA Division I with a .423 average in 248 at bats at Sam Houston State in 2023. He has only had four plate appearances since then.

*Oliver Dunn, IF (NRI): Salt Lake City native is one of two Utahns to play for the Brewers (Jared Fernandez) and the only one hit safely

*Zach Franklin, RHP (minor leaguer): University of Missouri product tied Peyton Pallette and Phil Fox for the lead among Sox farmhands with 11 saves at Double-A Birmingham (10) and Triple-A Charlotte (1) last season.

*Jacob Gonzalez, IF (minor leaguer): First-round pick in 2023 finished second at the University of Mississippi to Tim Elko with 18 home runs in 2022. Elko hit 24.

*Dustin Harris, OF (NRI): Six of his 10 hits (four doubles, two home runs) went for extra-bases in 21 games for the Texas Rangers in 2024 and 2025

*Jarred Kelenic, OF (NRI): Waukesha native is the highest overall draft pick out of a Wisconsin high school … Kelenic was the sixth overall pick of the 2018 June draft by the Mets out of Waukesha West High School

*Tyson Miller, RHP (NRI): Californian was 5-1 with a 2.15 ERA in 49 games as a valuable member of the Cubs’ bullpen in 2024. His 2025 was marked by three trips to the injured list before he became a free agent. He did not pitch in the Majors in 2025

*Shane Murphy, LHP (minor leaguer): Arizonan paced Sox farmhands with 10 wins at Class-A Winston-Salem (9) and Double-A Birmingham (1) in 2025 and his 1.66 ERA was the lowest among organization hurlers with at least 27 innings.

*Ben Peoples, RHP (minor leaguer): Reliever owned a 2.65 ERA in 35 appearances at the Rays’ Durham (AAA) affiliate when he was acquired in the Adrian Houser trade on July 31, 2025. With the Sox Charlotte (AAA) affiliate, People’s ERA was 5.56 in 10 outings.

*Noah Schultz, LHP (minor leaguer): Naperville native joins Peoria’s Danny Goodwin (1971, Peoria), Arlington Heights’ Larry Monroe (1974), South Holland’s Steve Trout (1976, Thornwood) and New Lenox’s Kris Honel (1994, Providence Catholic) as Illinois high schoolers taken by the Sox in the first round of the June draft (2022, Oswego East).

*Tyler Schweitzer, LHP (minor leaguer): Indianapolis native is one of just two Ball Staters selected by the Sox in the June draft (fifth round, 2022). The other Ball Stater drafted by the Sox was first baseman Scott Goss in the 28th round in 1984.

*Lucas Sims, RHP (NRI): Per many sources, the 9-year veteran signed a minor league deal with a spring training invite on Jan. 30 … .197 opponents average since 2019 ranks 13th lowest among pitchers with at least 245 innings

Hagen Smith, LHP (minor leaguer): Top prospect has averaged at least 10.5 strikeouts per nine innings in five of his six stops in college and pro … Smith has allowed fewer hits than innings at every stop in his college and pro career … Should Smith pitch on the same staff as Shane Smith, it will mark the first time since April 19, 1913 that the Sox will have two Smiths on the staff. That day, and that day only, Bob Smith and Pop-boy Smith were on the Sox roster. That day was the extent of Bob Smith’s Sox and MLB career.

*Michael Turner, C, (minor leaguer): Left-handed hitter caught Hagen Smith’s debut at the University of Arkansas.

On Feb.. 19, 2022, Turner was on the receiving end of six scoreless innings as Smith christened his collegiate career by beating Illinois State in the Razorbacks’ 5-1 win before 10,906 at Baum-Walker Stadium in Fayetteville, Ark. Smith fanned five and walked one as an 18-year old freshman.

Turner was 2-for-4 with a double in his Arkansas debut after transferring from Kent State where he played three years.

*LaMonte Wade Jr. (NRI): His six game-tying or go-ahead hits in the ninth inning for the 2021 Giants were the most by any player in the last 40 seasons
