A man approaches victims in their garage, demands property and flees in their vehicles, police said.
Chicago police are warning Gresham residents about a pair of carjackings reported in June and July in the South Side neighborhood.
In both incidents, a man approached victims while they were in their garage, demanded their wallets and phones and fled in their vehicles, according to a community alert from Chicago police.
These carjackings happened about 9:10 a.m. June 17 in the 8500 block of South Winchester Avenue and about 8:40 a.m. July 10 in the 8500 block of South Marshfield Avenue, police said.
