My alphabetical-ish review of the White Sox 2025 roster —@SoxNerd style — continues with a look at AUSTIN SLATER:
*Slater’s 11 RBI in 2025 are tied for the second-lowest in White Sox history among players with at least five home runs. Buddy Bradford had 10 RBI on five homers in 1974 are the lowest in Sox history while Alex Avila had seven RBI on seven homers in 2016.
*On July 2nd, Slater became the first White Sox player with a homer and a triple in the first two innings since Andrew Vaughn on Sept. 16, 24.
*Slater (July 2nd) joins Alex Rios (June 16, 2012) and Dewayne Wise (June 24, 2008) as White Sox with a triple vs. the Dodgers in Dodger Stadium
*NEXT: Shane Smith
