The Cubs have raised 2025 bleacher season ticket prices by 6.7 percent

The Cubs are banking on an improved team next year — or at least sustained interest.

Cubs season ticket holders received their 2025 invoices Thursday afternoon.

I can’t speak for other parts of the ballpark, but my bleacher season ticket price went up 6.7 percent — and that’s for two fewer games, because both games the Cubs will play next March against the Dodgers in Tokyo are being played as Cubs “home” games. There will be only 79 games at Wrigley Field in 2025.

Here is the full schedule and breakdown of pricing tiers for 2025.

As you can see, the difference in pricing for 2025 likely resides in the larger number of games placed in the gold tier — there are 27 of those. There are also nine games in the Marquee tier and six in the top-priced Diamond tier.

There are tentative home game times (as always, subject to change and some of them will, particularly on weekends) listed so you can start planning for next year.

The bleacher season ticket for 2025 (taxes/fees included) is $3,940.08, which is roughly what it was in 2018 — and that price went down about 5 percent from its peak in 2017, right after the team won the World Series.

The Cubs are apparently banking on some popular opponents coming to Wrigley next year and that fans won’t be too unhappy with another missed postseason (unless some miracle happens in the next couple of weeks). It’ll be interesting to see what the renewal rate is.

A 20 percent deposit on the season ticket balance is due by 5 p.m. CT Wednesday, October 16, 2024. The remaining 80 percent is due by 5 p.m. CT Wednesday, January 22, 2025. At that point they’ll probably open up some new season tickets.
