While we were awaiting developments, the Cubs were playing their crosstown rivals at their home on da South Side. Mike Imanaga trod the hill and was opposed by Adrian Houser, someone who should need no introduction. Like Seth Lugo, Houser has been mentioned on BCB’s front page in recent days as a potential trade candidate.
Imanaga wasn’t himself. Perhaps Shota should have pitched instead of Mike. Houser was just fine. Chris Flexen was treated roughly by the home team as well. Rude. Even former Cub Mike Tauchman unloaded.
