A 21-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times during an argument overnight on a CTA Blue Line train, Chicago police said.
Shortly after 12:30 a.m., the woman was on a CTA train in the 700 block of South Cicero Avenue when she became involved in an argument with several males, police said. The argument turned into a fight and one of the males pulled out a sharp object and stabbed the victim before fleeing the scene, police said.
The victim suffered multiple wounds to her body, and exited the train at the Oak Park stop where she was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. She was listed in fair condition.
No one was in custody for the attack and detectives were investigating.
