My alphabetical-ish review of the White Sox 2025 roster continues with a look at DAVIS MARTIN:
*Right-hander tied Shane Smith for the White Sox lead with seven wins in 2025
*Erick Fedde led the 2024 Sox with seven wins. The last time the Sox wins leader had the same amount of victories in back-to-back seasons since 2005 and 2006 (Jon Garland with 18 both seasons)
*Martin was 5-2 with a 3.63 ERA in 12 starts at home and 2-8 with a 4.52 ERA in 13 starts on the road for the 2025 Sox
*Martin’s stint of six shutout innings of relief while allowing no more than three hits on April 27th was the first by a Sox pitcher since July 27, 1991 when Melido Perez posted seven zeroes against two hits at Boston on July 27, 1991.
