Attendees can speak with representatives from in-state and out-of-state colleges and universities to learn more about transfer options, admission requirements, academic programs, scholarships and campus life.

Seigle Foundation awards $100,000 in grants to nonprofits
The Seigle Foundation has awarded $100,000 in grants to four food-related nonprofits: Northern Illinois Food Bank, Food for Greater Elgin, Fox Valley Food for Health and the D300 Food Pantry.
“We are honored to receive this $30,000 grant from the Seigle Foundation to launch our healthy families project,” D300 Food Pantry President Nikki Kuhlman said in a news release.
Kuhlman said the funding will allow the Carpentersville-based nonprofit to provide consistent access to eggs, yogurt, cheese and grains, items rarely donated but vital for growing children and healthy families.
The Elgin-based Seigle Foundation supports local efforts to address food insecurity, housing, education and the arts. Nonprofit organizations serving the Elgin and Dundee communities are eligible to apply for its grants.
