Week 6 Wide Receiver Rankings Fantasy Football

October 8, 2025 by Last Word On Pro Football

Week 5 of the NFL season is complete. It is time to look ahead to Week 6. Here are the Week 6 wide receiver rankings for fantasy football. The notable wide receivers on bye this week are Nico Collins, Justin Jefferson, and Jordan Addison. CeeDee Lamb and Mike Evans are out with injuries, while Terry McLaurin, Ricky Pearsall, and Jauan Jennings are questionable.

Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings Week 6

Tier 1: Superstar WR1s

Rank Player Opponent
1 Puka Nacua Baltimore Ravens
2 Amon-Ra St. Brown Kansas City Chiefs
3 Jaxon Smith-Njigba Jacksonville Jaguars
4 Emeka Egbuka San Francisco 49ers
5 Ja’Marr Chase Green Bay Packers
6 Garrett Wilson Denver Broncos
7 Rome Odunze Washington Commanders
8 Drake London Buffalo Bills

With injuries and byes, the young Ohio State guys are making their way up the top tier of the wide receiver rankings:

  • Nacua has been a top-six wide receiver in all five weeks so far this season and gets a great matchup against the Ravens in Week 6. Expect another exceptional week for Nacua and the Rams offense.
  • JSN and Egbuka put on a show against each other in a battle of former Ohio State wide receivers. Egbuka finished as the WR1 on the week, and JSN was the WR3. They each had their third top 12 finish of the season, and both rank in the top four of the Week 6 wide receiver rankings.
  • Wilson joins in on the Ohio State fun, having four top 12 finishes on the season so far. He gets a tougher matchup against Pat Surtain in Week 6.

Tier 2: Proven Solid WR2s

Rank Player Opponent
9 Davante Adams Baltimore Ravens
10 George Pickens Carolina Panthers
11 Courtland Sutton New York Jets
12 Tetairoa McMillan Dallas Cowboys
13 Deebo Samuel Chicago Bears
14 Marvin Harrison Jr. Indianapolis Colts
15 Quentin Johnston Miami Dolphins
16 Keenan Allen Miami Dolphins
17 Michael Pittman Jr. Arizona Cardinals
18 Chris Olave New England Patriots
19 Zay Flowers Los Angeles Rams
20 Jaylen Waddle Los Angeles Chargers

The players in this tier are all must-starts this week and will provide plenty of fantasy value throughout the season:

  • McMillan continues to put up solid numbers, but he has yet to break out. He gets a great chance to do just that against the Cowboys in Week 6.
  • With the injury to McLaurin, Samuel has looked like vintage Deebo this season. He has three top 12 finishes on the year and gets a great matchup against the Bears this week. If McLaurin does play, Samuel will get a slight downgrade in the rankings.
  • Waddle stepped up in the absence of Hill, scoring 23 fantasy points and finishing as a top ten wide receiver on the week. He will be a top 20 wide receiver for Week 6.

Tier 3: WR3s With Something to Prove

Rank Player Opponent
21 Ladd McConkey Miami Dolphins
22 Romeo Doubs Cincinnati Bengals
23 Terry McLaurin* Chicago Bears
24 Ricky Pearsall* Tampa Bay Buccaneers
25 DK Metcalf Cleveland Browns
26 Xavier Worthy Detroit Lions
27 Khalil Shakir Atlanta Falcons
28 A.J. Brown New York Giants
29 Brian Thomas Jr. Seattle Seahawks
30 Stefon Diggs New Orleans Saints

This tier of players includes wide receivers who are all borderline WR starts this week, depending on the size of your league:

  • Doubs had a bye in Week 5, but scored almost 30 fantasy points in the Packers game the week before. He only had six receptions, but he scored three touchdowns. He gets a great matchup against the struggling Bengals in Week 6.
  • Brown had another poor performance, scoring single-digit fantasy points for the fourth time in five weeks this season. He will try to get back on track against a bad Giants secondary on Thursday Night Football.

Tier 4: Potential Flex WRs

Rank Player Opponent
31 Darnell Mooney Buffalo Bills
32 Jameson Williams Kansas City Chiefs
33 Matthew Golden Cincinnati Bengals
34 Jakobi Meyers Tennessee Titans
35 Rashid Shaheed New England Patriots
36 Jauan Jennings* Tampa Bay Buccaneers
37 Calvin Ridley Las Vegas Raiders
38 Wan’Dale Robinson Philadelphia Eagles
39 Jerry Jeudy Pittsburgh Steelers
40 DeVonta Smith New York Giants

These guys are FLEX options to fill out your starting lineup:

  • Shaheed caught the big-play touchdown, scoring over 21 fantasy points in the Saints first victory of the season. This is the fourth straight week with exactly four receptions. He doesn’t have the target share to be a trustworthy start, so he is just a boom-or-bust option.
  • If Pearsall and Jennings are both out again for the 49ers, Kendrick Bourne will be a FLEX option for fantasy managers after scoring 24.2 fantasy points in Week 5.
