The #1 source for #Cubs, #MLB, and #MiLB news and notes. A day off before today’s series opener. Hopefully the players are energized.
The going is weird. Cub Tracks™ turned pro a long time ago. Cub Tracks™. Where the great ones run away.
Any MLB team can beat you. The good teams WILL beat you.
No game Monday, travel day/sleep in own bed night for players. Guardians in today for three, and the Italian Beef Pizza is debuting. From the Home Run Inn, my childhood favorite. I might have to make some, because that’s a hike from where I am now.
Hope those of you who go get to try it. And of course there’s also a series against the Cleveland Guardians, who are still a good team even if their name sucks eggs. Why they weren’t named the Rocks defeats me.
I have the Cubs to meatloaf. Then it’ll be time for the stinkin’ Cardinals.
