Lonzo Ball is expected to miss training camp and is doubtful to be healthy by the start of the regular season, sources told Jamal Collier and Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.
Ball is still experiencing “lingering pain and discomfort” from knee surgery back in January.
Ball’s knee is reportedly structurally sound, though he continues to experience pain while undergoing basketball activities.
The guard has seen multiple knee specialists to try to determine the cause of the pain and receive treatment.
Ball will arrive in Chicago next week for further evaluations.
